Keynsham Tournament 21st Oct 2007                                                                                Well after a disappointing evening on Saturday our hopes were laid at the door of our U7’s on a fresh but bright Sunday morning in Keynsham. After a bright start against Keynsham which they were lucky to draw and then an  10-10 we went on to lose to Weston Hornets, but then came our moment of glory our first win of the season against Cheddar 20–10, and all was to play for in the final game to get through to the semi’s.

 The final game was against Bath who had not lost a game, we came screaming out the blocks and quickly took the lead and by half it was 10-5. We were still looking good after halftime but could not turn a score over then Bath scored to make it 10 -10 with a minute left and us hanging on Bath made a break and some great defending the Tag was had however the ref deemed the lad scored so we lost 15-10 a valiant effort thwarted by the ref…Saturday night came flooding back!!

 Great effort by the boys and a great improvement has been shown week in week out so lets keep it up!
